Are we sure this gives -15% item drops? My tests are showing the drop rates to be roughly equal, within a normal margin of error. I've done 1000+ adventures each with and without the effect. Below are the statistics for the 2000+ adventures spent at the Icy Peak.

  • Good point, I'l remove it... and start using that stuff.--Fly boy42 00:03, 9 April 2006 (CDT)
  • After 87 adventures in the bean bat cave with a 40pound gravy fairy (+100% items) I got 87 beans. This means its pretty definalty not got any -item% on it.--D0om 12:45, 9 April 2006 (CDT)
    • This is not necessarily true... suppose an item has a drop rate of 15% + 100% from the fairy, -15% from the effect (well, it isn't, but let's assume it is), leaves you with a drop rate of 100%. --Rintaun 03:38, 15 April 2006 (CDT)
      • That's not how +drop% works. If an item has a drop rate of 15%, and you get +100% from your fairy (40 lbs at 2.5% per pound), the item's new drop rate is 15 * (1 + 1) = 15*2 = 30%. If the buffing spray was -15% (and it doesn't seem to be...) the final drop rate would be 15 * (1 + 1 -.15) = 15*1.85 = 27.75%. --GtM2 21:22, 25 April 2006 (CDT)

-10% from All Stats?

What exactly does that mean? Does it decrease the rate of stat gain through adventures? Or does it reduce your existing stats? -- Antaeus Feldspar 19:32, 8 April 2006 (CDT)

  • reduce your existing stats--Fly boy42 00:03, 9 April 2006 (CDT)

Is the 10% off your base or buffed stat? Even with a page full of buffs and the entire star set, I'm working at less than base stats from the 10%, which seems a bit extreme. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Skyl3lazer (talkcontribs) at 12:51, 6 March 2007 (CST).
