Talk:I'm on the Hunt, I'm After You

From A KoL Wiki

I'm thinking that the buzzing in the ear alerting you to the hunt is a reference from the book Chasm City by Alastair Reynolds. --Lostdreams 06:09, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

And of course, the unicorn blood is referring to Harry Potter lore (1st book) while the teddy bear is one big Winnie-the-Pooh reference. --Lostdreams 06:13, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Umm... actually, I'm thinking the "cassette tapes" bit is a reference to Teddy Ruxpin.--Harlock the Bard 06:03, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

The name of the adventure is probably a reference to the song "Hungry like the wolf" by Duran Duran. --BongBob 06:28, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

The first part of "Hunt the Unicorn" is a reference to the "Unicorn" scene added to Blade Runner in the director's cut. "Hunt the Teddy Bear" contains direct quotes from the mecha teddy bear in A.I. Artificial Intelligence. (I am not a toy; I will break) --Ranrar 20:41, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

The stat gains from Hunt the Unicorn seem to cap at 200 per stat. A lv 28 DB got those gains with +50 muscularity on muscle day. --Spiny Twizzler 00:03, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I think there is a reference to 'Teddy' from the movie Artificial Intelligence. "I am not a toy" is a direct quote, and "I will break" is similar to warnings Teddy gives David, "you will break" and also "I'll break, David." --Anmbia 14:21, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Somebody should spade the formula for the stat gains from the Unicorn choice. I haven't the foggiest idea how to do it properly, though. Wrldwzrd89 21:44, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Is the "special level of hell" line really a reference to Firefly? My instinct says "no", but maybe the person who added it put more thought into it than "they said the same thing on My Favorite Show it must be a reference squeeeeee!!" So I'm mentioning it here. --billybobfred 06:39, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
