Talk:KoL Con 13 snowglobe
What items can be obtained? I've gotten the oil of slipperiness, and hot mint schnocolate--Icon315♕ (☎|♤) 09:23, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
Looking at my logs, the snowglobe dropped pretty random items for the different categories it can drop:
- For food: Bash-Ōs cereal, dehydrated caviar, filet of The Fish, fusilli marrownarrow, ghuol guolash, Knoll mushroom, linguini of the sea, liver popsicle, mind flayer corpse, plain bagel, pr0n m4nic0tti, tofu casserole. That's a pretty wide range (filet of The Fish on the high end, mind flayer corpse on the low)
- For booze: a little sump'm sump'm, bottle of cooking sherry, Buttery Knob, dry vodka martini, expensive champagne, Flamin' Whatshisname, Haymaker, Hundred Headed IPA, ice porter, ice-cold Sir Schlitz, knoll mushroom wine, lychee chuhai, Mae West, McLeod's Hard Haggis-Ade, Morto Moreto, Plague of Locusts, Radberry Rip wine cooler, Russian Ice, shot of mescal, slug of shochu, Typical Tavern swill, vodka gibson, vodka martini, white lightning, yellow brick road. Again, pretty wide range given a bottle of cooking sherry vs. expensive champagne.
- For potions: adder bladder, Ancient Protector Soda, bloodstain stick, Doc Galaktik's Vitality Serum, eyedrops of newt, goblin water, grisly shell fragment, invisible potion, jug of baconstone juice, old bronzer, pirate tract, pirate tract, sour powder, spooky powder, that gum you like, thin black candle. A boss drop from a Heavy Rains boss, adder bladder...it's pretty random.

The leftover pasty and very fancy whiskey come from the snowglobe, though I don't know if the message for obtaining them is different than the standard food / booze drop messages. --GoldS (talk) 22:46, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- Looking at my logs, I got it with the normal drink drop message.-Foggy (talk) 16:08, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Scratch that...it dropped with a normal message, but it dropped with the normal food message. Da hell?-Foggy (talk) 16:45, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Here are some more items I can confirm the snowglobe dropped:
- Food: abominable snowcone, boris's key lime pie, c.h.u.m. chum, cupcake-in-a-cup, hot date, jarlsberg's key lime pie, moose chocolate, kumquat, pecan pie, raspberry, spicy bean burrito, throbbing organ pie, unappetizing maylous.
- Booze: blackfly chardonnay, bottle of pete's sake, bottle of domesticated turkey, broberry brogurt, carrot claret, herring daiquiri, screwdiver, shot of rotgut, tropical swill, perfect paloma.
- Potions: cordial of concentration, dog ointment, everlasting deckswabber, frostbite-flavored hob-o, giraffe-necked turtle, hare brush, red letter, serum of sarcasm, spirit gum, worst candy.
Not sure what the drops are limited to (if anything), but it's worth a try showing the possible items. I'll try to add to the list when I can.
I *think* the snowglobe can only produce PvP-stealable food/booze/potions (has an autosell value and is tradeable). There are some items that I feel cannot drop, such as power pill and other potions related to the Puck Man, but I have seen a pixel banana drop. All speculation!--AstronautGuy (talk) 02:06, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
The snowglobe can drop pretty much anything in my experience. I even got a solid gold jewel so having an autosell value is not a requirement. Skullrock (talk) 22:40, 12 October 2016 (UTC) Edit: the solid gold jewel may have come from Mr. Screege's spectacles.
From my few thousand adventures with the KoL Con 13 snowglobe and time-twitching toolbelt, from looking at the snowglobe a second time I have only received extra stats. Skullrock (talk) 16:40, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
You can even get Karma Shawarma during an HC run. Soo good to three-eat with the time-spinner :) This was a class act run, so path but not current.
Just got an eldritch elixir. So that's on the list. --Sparksol (t|c) 09:02, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
I'm using the snowglobe in an Avatar of West of Loathing run. I've never done this path before, and I'm pretty sure I had never even heard of the plates of beans before this, let alone gotten or consumed one. But at least twice in this run, the snowglobe has produced one. Is it possible that it produces stuff that you have encountered before? That would fit with the 'thinking back' color text. --Jef (talk) 04:26, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Was this item a reference this entire time?
I was using this item and it just occured to me, there was this show called St. Elsewhere and in the final episode it turns out it was never a real place and instead just the imaginings of an child based on a snowglobe he was holding, is that what this is? An imaginary convention that only took place in our mind? It's kinda freaking me out.--Tombot (talk) 03:04, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
- it's not that obscure and it's not like KoL isn't already just one big reference. you've convinced me. --Evilkolbot (talk) 11:20, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
- and why else a snowglobe? the other three items are just glass ball containing a model. if only there were a radio show. twitter? --Evilkolbot (talk) 11:28, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
