Talk:Love songs

From A KoL Wiki

I'm not sure how best to state this on the page, but the stat gain from using three of the songs in combat isn't strictly based on the character's buffed stat (or the damage calculated from that); it's... hmm... I guess the simplest way to say it is that the stat gain is based on the damage done to the creature up to the amount of damage needed to kill the creature. Divine items do not have that limiter. I realized it when I was funkslinging naughty songs and divine blowouts with ~444 buffed moxie at Town Square hobos. If I did the love song first and then the blowout, I would get 22 moxie substats for each one; if I did the blowout and then the love song, I'd get 22 substats for the blowout but only 4 substats for the love song. So, hey, one (small) benefit to divine items! --Terion 03:08, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

The exact formula is already mentioned on the item pages themselves.--Toffile 03:34, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
