Talk:Mer-kin healer
I believe this is referring to Scientology, in which one must pay money for certain texts, a higher stance of enlightenment. --Lostdreams 06:21, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, this seems like a pretty blatant Scientology stab. Except with tentacles and lovecraftian horrors instead of dead aliens or whatever. --Flargen 11:58, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
The flash of malevolent eye seems like another Sauron reference, but I have my reservations. Second opinion? --Raijinili 16:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
chants
Not sure where to pt this in the article, before the hit/miss i also got these messages when i was hitting him for more that 300 dmg (328,350,338):
He unfurls a scroll and chants something in an ugly, guttural language composed mainly of apostrophes and consonants. There's a flash of hideous green light, and he looks stronger.
--Hrag 12:12, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- and yes, he was definitely healing himself with them --Hrag 12:21, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- nah, amount of damage dealed to him might not matter, bot them after ~200 too --Hrag 12:33, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
combat
I'm noticing that Disco Blindness is not 100% against this monster. There's no overt indication of whether or not it works, but after performing the combo, it'll either rub its eye for the regular duration, or it will continue to attack, miss, or chant. --Hoobity 15:43, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Also, using Harold's Bell against these guys does not prevent them from popping up and healing raiders and burglars when fighting those. --Hoobity 13:16, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Statistics
Collected drop rate statistics. As usual, "wh: X" means the character was using a hound dog familiar at the indicated weight while under the Wallaby sign. The effects of this were and are accounted for. --Flargen 16:43, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
