What happens if you do not use the first larva before ascending? It should obviously dissappear, since it is a quest item, but will you get one in a subsequent run? --J12601 21:54, 27 October 2006 (CDT)

  • I have an unascended multi who only has a volleyball in the terrarium, but is up to level 8, and has completed all of the quests up to that level. The council has marked that quest as complete, since it no longer shows up in their quest list. I do not plan on ascending that account, so I will not be able to test it. There is a decent chance of not getting the Sorceress's goat (a little better than 50%), so it seems probable that one could ascend without it, but the number of ascensions in a row where one could do this would start to get rather low statistically (assuming the council continues to give you the larva if you do not have one in your terrarium at the time of that quests completion). --J12601 23:48, 27 October 2006 (CDT)

• If it wasn't obvious from the above post--yes, the council lets you keep the larva upon completing the quest in subsequent ascensions if you never used the larva in a prior ascension. --Bazo0ka 00:16, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
