As a Disco Bandit, out of 20 adventures, the only "crate" adventure I've gotten is Heyyyyy. Can others confirm that they only get the crate adventure corresponding to their main stat? -- TheArchivist 19:05, 21 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

Some statistics: As a Disco Bandit adventuring in the Noob Cave, without delivering the pile of shiny pebbles to the Toot Oriole...
Eureka! was my 4th adventure.
Of the other 79 adventures...
20 (25.32%) were Don't_Mess_with_the_Bull
23 (29.11%) were Baby Ruth?
17 (21.52%) were Exactly... what you need... right now
19 (24.05%) were Heyyyyyy.
Preliminary hypothesis: All of the adventures are equally likely (including Eureka!, until you encounter it.) -- TheArchivist 19:22, 21 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

As a brandspanking new Pastamancer I got

  • Adventurer Smash 3 times
  • Baby Ruth 2 times
  • Concentrate Young Adventurer 1 time
  • Don't Mess with the Bull 1 time
  • Exactly... 1 time

before getting Eureka. I got the first four adventurers in alphabetical order (ABCDAAEB!) with the ! being the Eureka adventure--Foggy 11:30, 22 June 2006 (CDT)

Level 6 Turtle Tamer August 22, 2006

  1. Adventurer Smash! 24 times
  2. Baby Ruth? 25 times
  3. Don't Mess With The Bull... 27 times
  4. Exactly...what you need...right now... 24 times

None of the other two adventures. Very strange. --Foggy 14:39, 23 August 2006 (CDT)

Um, Adventurer Smash can occur even for non-muscle class characters. Just putting that out there, I dunno about the other ones. .--Sasha 19:34 9 January 2007 (GMT)

yeah i thin the crate advs correspond to main and substats.. like pasta, the sub is muscle, so they can get adv smash, and their main stats, the myst one. any confirmations from other classes?--Argus 21:07, 5 February 2007 (CST)

Huge revamp for new oriole quest!

Basically, it replaces (what appears to be) everything with one combat adventure, against a crate, which can drop fruit, booze, or a new item, the popsicle stick. I'd fix this myself, but I don't know the whole big page-adding changes thing too good.--Billybobfred 05:13, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

  • More info. I wasn't sure whether it was "fruit first, booze second, sticks forever after" or if there was always a chance of any. I now know it is the second.--Billybobfred 05:16, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
    • All the non-conditional noncoms seem to have been retired. Are the conditionals still active? (And which ones?) And if so, can we determine the area's combat frequency? --Billybobfred 16:13, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

If there are combat encounters here now, what does this mean for kittycore? --timrem 20:00, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

  • jick admitted on the forums it's screwed. they're working on it... --Evilkolbot 21:25, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
    • My understanding is that Surprising! will (or perhaps already does) occur as the first adventure in the cave for those in BM, meaning you'll get your cat before you have a chance of going in to combat. --Lordebon 23:22, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
