Talk:Queen cookie

I'm not sure, but does the "evolving from another cookie" thing reference the rule in chess where pawns can evolve into a queen (or other higher pieces) when they reach the other side of the board? --Uncle edna 05:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm betting on no. It seems to be a reference to some species of insects where when a queen dies a new one takes its place. --Durgle 15:44, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'd argue that you're BOTH right -- the bee thing makes sense, but so does the fact that you can promote a pawn to another piece (usually the queen) in chess. It was the chess reference I thought of first.--RobN 04:13, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Whym ate one, and said he it gave the effects of the other four cookies. I'm not sure if he meant you literally recieved 30 more adventures of each effect, or if there was a 5th effect that was equivalent to the other 4. --Lord Bitchalot 14:25, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Misc. Discussion
Wow, these are somewhat amusing. I suspect it makes people who don't have the l30 trophies happy, and maybe the telescope folks.
I wonder if TPTB are going to continue this habit of high-end gear, that's basically useless for the core game? Don't get me wrong - they've done quite well at balance lately, and I don't want these usable on day 1. They've even done well exploring the design space of what they've set up. But I wonder if they're still enjoying thinking of new dynamics, or wondering about the endgame --Snugglypoo 05:12, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- The core game gets repetitious. There's other new content coming for the Sea, I'm sure. I've seen some images that GoldS has found and identified some item names myself. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 15:08, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
