Talk:Sleazy Breath (skill)

From A KoL Wiki

When I used Sleazy Breath as a moxie class, it appended a moxious maneuver at no additional cost

"You breathe on him, doing 9 damage and making him blush.
With great Moxie, you sneak up behind him and hit him
for 85 damage. ZOT! BAM! KAPOW! WHAM! WHAMMO!
 KAPOW! POW! POW! BARF! KAPOW!"
"You breathe on him, doing 7 damage and making him blush.
With great Moxie, you suckersmack him for 83 damage.
WHAMMO! WHAM! ZOT! BONK! BOOF! WHACK! BOOF! ZOT!
 BONK! ZOT!"

Would someone verify that this works with Accordion Thieves, and not with other classes? Also, will the moxious maneuver ever miss? --DirkDiggler 10:19, 5 July 2006 (CDT)

  • I've used this skill (as a Disco Bandit) against enemies at the Crimborg Collective Factory and at the Castle in the Clouds, but haven't seen it append a moxious maneuver at all. Are you sure this is right? Perhaps there's something else required to get the bonus, or it has been changed? I was wielding a ranged weapon at the time (Star Boomerang) and only had a handful of the Disco Bandit skills purchased, if either of those could be a factor. --Nifty Nobu 11:19, 16 December 2006 (CST)

I didn't get a moxious maneuver either. I was level 22. Maybe it's because I didn't have enough MP to pull a maneuver off. Any answers? --Sdrawkcab 02:04, 27 January 2007 (CST)

Okay, so I tried again. 70 MP. Sleazy breath. No moxious maneuver. Perhaps it only works at not-so-high levels. And I'm a DB, if it helps.--Sdrawkcab 02:07, 27 January 2007 (CST)

Dunno what happened -- I promise I got the attack text exactly as above, but it was right after the implementation of hi meins. Looks like they removed it since then.--DirkDiggler 18:37, 28 January 2007 (CST)

I can try on my accordion thief multi (which is level 13) a hi mein. Just to confirm. But not today though. If it DOES append a maneuver, then it's only for ATs. --Sdrawkcab 22:09, 7 February 2007 (CST)

I'm presuming not, but can this be permed? --Cheese 01:58, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
