Talk:Soul monocle
soul monocle
Some people can gaze straight into a mime's soul. You prefer to gaze through one.
Type: accessory Cannot be traded or discarded
Enchantment: Reveals secrets
Source: using eerily silent box on 10/24/2012 with a mime soul fragment. --Andyzero 06:15, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
I still don't know how to hook this up with images. >.> MatrixM 07:10, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
Not sure whether this has any effect on the doors or the code words they give you. The quality of the words doesn't seem to change -- does the frequency? Or are these two unconnected effects in the same event? --Yunatwilight 07:14, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
I haven't checked this, but perhaps you get more letters per adventure...? MatrixM 07:16, 25 October 2012 (CEST)
The eerie box only work one time for Soul monocle. I have smash mine, and I can not get one back. --GreatFailure 22:53, 27 October 2012 (CEST)
- Your name is so appropriate--Mister Manager 01:22, 28 October 2012 (CEST)
- If you want another Soul monocle write a bug-report and inform TPTB about the current behavior of eerily silent boxes. Because when there isn't a monocle in your inventory, closet, dc or even Hagnk's you should be able to get another one. (It's not like getting one at the cost of a mime soul fragment is in any way exploitable...) And personally, I think what you did was a great act of spading, but I hadn't dared to do it myself. Into what did it pulverize? --Yatsufusa 09:44, 28 October 2012 (CET)
- It became twinkly powder. I did report but I have not received a response. GreatFailure 06:30, 31 October 2012 (CET)
Ok have you ascended since you pulverised it? And because I am honestly shocked no one has tried it... That enchantment is more than just namesake. It reveals secrets like the glyph in the spookyraven basement, and gets you the ballroom key without the need for the glasses. --Kajo 02:33, 7 December 2012 (CET)
- You never needed the glasses to get the ballroom key. Just the class skill macguffin.--Toffile 13:14, 7 December 2012 (CET)
