Talk:The Crimbo Cafe

From A KoL Wiki

I managed to eat 4 Gingerbread Stir-frys with stomach of steel. Anyone care to calculate?

Unfortunately I don't have the stomach, but I did manage to eat and drink one of everything, and I can refute the claim that the drinks don't add drunkenness, since I gained 12 drunkenness from the all the drinks in total. TheMonkofDestiny 00:58, 20 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

I added some ranges to the Braincracker (both adventure-gains and stat-gains). Also this page need to be properly edited to better fit the proposed standards. --AlexG 04:24, 20 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

Descriptions?

Should we put the descriptions for the items on this page? Greyhead 15:39, 21 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

  • You want the descriptions, you go to the page of the item. -Zilly 21:20, 21 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

I'm pretty sure the "tastes like chicken" bits weren't in the original Crimbo Cafe. These comments are added to the new Crimborg meals, which implies we're not really eating those items, our brains are just telling us we are. It's really some kind of protein goo, which "tastes like chicken." --Andy00 17:22, 7 December 2006 (CST)

Crimbo 2006

I think this page should encorporate everything that is on the page The Crimboween Spooky Cafe - and The Crimboween Spooky Cafe could be a redirect. Edit: Eating Cave and Crimborg Nutrition Station as well. -- NewZorkBat 08:27, 13 December 2007 (CST)

Crimbo 2008 (after Dec. 24)

It looks like the gumdrop chow mein and gingerbread stir-fry were swapped in fullness and adventures from previous years. I checked the gumdrop chow mein for text changes, but the stir-fry and pizza need a look. --Itsatrap 08:52, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Crimbo 2009

17 adventures for the Black and Tan and Red All Over seems a bit high and is incongruent with some of the past items. I'm changing the adventures given to match what's on the page for each item. --Khalrin 09:40, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Just to throw some numbers out for the food and booze without any ODE or buffing skills or birth signs: Caviar Carbonara: 11, 9

Halibut Alfredo: 10 13 13, 14 12 10

Read Herring Velvet Cake: 17 16 16

Gin and Herring:9 7, 9

Black and Tan and Red All Over: 15 11, 11 13 14 11, 10

Antartic Ice Tea:19, 14, 15 15 16

I'll add to these tomorrow as well --Umbrageofsnow 18:51, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Either Crimbo Cafe prices were reduced today by 10%, or there may be a quest completion discount for the elf-side. I initially thought it was because I was wearing a tuxedo shirt, but checked naked as well. --Jambosque 01:54, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Do you have a LARP membership card? That'd give you that 10% reduction. --Lordebon 02:28, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Ah, that explains it. I freed the King and emptied Hagnk's today.--Jambosque 02:32, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

(2012 Crimbo Foods) Assuming the 2nd & 3rd food are 4 and 5 fullness (respectively), the first one (Rainbow Spider Roll) (which in the past was only 3) with the price for 4 is, in fact, 4 (I have 15 fullness, ate one of each, 5 + 4 + (3-4?), and was too full to consume an additional Rainbow Roll. I won't edit the page itself because one can't be completely sure the others are 4 & 5 fullness, and I lack the bravery to edit a page myself. Furthermore I received 7 adv + 5 plastic ingots from Rainbow Roll, 9 adv + 3 thingamajigs from Vegas Roll, and just 11 adv from Crazy Roll. -Davydd 05:29, 16 December 2012 (CET)
