Renaming?

So "blessings" is just a tentative name I gave to these effects. But right now just calling them "blessing" seems... lacking. Anyway, what should we be calling these effects? A few ideas I have:

  • Turtle Spirit
  • Turtle Spirit Blessings
  • or we just keep Blessings.
    • or Blessing?

  • I'm not a TT right now and the wiki has still some TT skill-shaped holes in it, but the core(s) of this mechanic are the three skills named "Blessing of X". Like with Seal Clubbers' Fury or Disco Bandits' Disco Momentum it seems best if we just name the page after the resource this mechanic is fueled by – and this happens to be blessings. Even if Turtle Power will turn out to be the most amazing thing about this, it simply won't work without a blessing, the same way Cavalcade of Fury doesn't do you any good without some gallons of Fury. Plural seems okay, since there are 3 different variants, while Disco Momentum only comes in Disco. ;) --Yatsufusa (talk) 10:26, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
    • I like "Spirit Blessings" or Turtle Spirit Blessings. Blessing is probably the most accurate, but I agree it seems seems bland. --MoreUmlaut (talk) 13:08, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
      • pithy is better. "blessings" is fine. /2¢. --Evilkolbot (talk) 13:11, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

There are several blessings that are not relevant to this page: Blessing of Pikachutlotal, Blessing of Squirtlcthulli, Blessing of Charcoatl, Blessing of Bulbazinalli, Brother Corsican's Blessing, Brother Flying Burrito's Blessing, Brother Smothers's Blessing, Izchak's Blessing, Clyde's Blessing, and The Great Tit's Blessing. Any name that doesn't account for all of the not relevant blessings is, at best, awkward. The Turtle Tamer page currently mentions that a "Glorious Blessing" is needed for Turtle Power. That sounds like a good name to me. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:14, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

  • The Turtle Tamer Blessings level up, with level 2 being "grand" and level 3 being "glorious", so referring to all types of blessing as glorious would be a bad move. "Turtle Blessings" would probably be the best name.--Melon (talk) 19:57, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
    • Ah, I haven't played TT since the updates and didn't realize that. I'll vote for Turtle Blessings, too, then. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:19, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
      • I don't really have a preference, I just wanted to start consolidating the spading.-Toffile (talk) 23:58, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
  • You're right. I'll switch my vote to the more accurate Turtle Spirit Blessings or simply Turtle Blessings, in case nobody can stand such a long page name. --Yatsufusa (talk) 01:51, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

I'll vote Turtle Blessings. This ('Blessings') could either be a disambiguation or a redirect, depending. That said, I do SEARCH 'blessings' to find this page. --Lxndr (talk) 18:17, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

  • Please let's rename the page to Turtle Blessings since the current title is much too unclear as to its purpose. --Bale (talk) 07:35, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

Storm Shieldbutt

Successive Shieldbutts with Glorious Storm blessing compounds the pasive damage. If the first butt does 50, the first passive does 50. if the second butt does 50, the second passive does 100. Is but is skipped, it keeps the damage at 100. It also seems to stack with Spirit Snap.--Fluxxdog (talk) 15:18, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
