This familiar seems to have extra effect when fighting guard turtles in the Outer Compound. I had one with an effective weight around 30 lb. A potato of that weight should block a bit over 50% of the time, but I was seeing the attacks blocked almost every time. --MadLogician 22:08, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Also an increased effect against the Nemesis - hitting above 80% block-rate from 29lb. Double weight, perhaps? Blocking was much less effective vs. the special move, only 1-2 per move blocked.
It isn't handicapped in Hide and Seek. I'm guessing it is probably 3 stars in it. (It both doesn't get the 'uninterested' message and has no trouble beating a 15lb barnacle at 22lbs (by about 10sec on average) (Oh, and as a TT, if it matters).--Arbarbonif 19:51, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Special messages for Stella
It seems each turn of fight with Demonic Stella, he will distract one of her attacks with one of these messages:
Stella lashes out, but Emerald dives in the way, taking the brunt of the blow.
Emerald does a little turtle dance, distracting Stella for a moment.
Emerald slowly moves in front of Stella, and the sickle bounces off their hard shell.
Should that be noted? I would check whether it's already on Stella's page, but my internet connection is not very good.--Blargh (talk) 08:03, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
