Template:FEATURE April Fool's Day
Unlike many other holidays April Fools' Day occurs in the kingdom only once per year (on April 1st). For the past two years Jick has done something to commerate this day by doing crazy things such as faking ultra rare drops, replacing www.kingdomofloathing.com with fake prank sites, to even causing all instances of the word "the", "are", and "you" in the forums to be changed to "TEH", "R", and "U" respectively. One year Jick placed fake ads in the top left hand corner of the site (pictured left), which gave many players a scare. The Mr. Store item of the month is also usually themed to this day. In 2005, the emo roe, appeared in the store for one day as a practical joke on the unsuspecting players, and in 2006 McPhee's Grimoire of Hilarious Object Summoning was created which gave the skill Summon Hilarious Objects. Casting this skill results in three completely useless items being summoned (another practical joke). Whatever the case Jick and company always manage to make April Fool's Day eventful.
