History

• On July 08, 2008, the subzones were reconfigured into 4 separate zones.
  • 182. Next to that Barrel with Something Burning in it
  • 183. Near an Abandoned Refrigerator
  • 184. Over Where the Old Tires Are
  • 185. Out By that Rusted-Out Car
• Each new zone contained all 9 gremlins, and was intended to function like this zone with the groups of gremlins appearing in a randomised zone each ascension.
• Due to a bug the new zones never altered which location the groups of Gremlins appeared in.
  • Next to that Barrel with Something Burning in it - molybdenum hammer- batwinged gremlin (quest), batwinged gremlin, vegetable gremlin, A.M.C. gremlin
  • Near an Abandoned Refrigerator - molybdenum pliers- spider gremlin (quest), spider gremlin, batwinged gremlin, A.M.C. gremlin
  • Over Where the Old Tires Are - molybdenum crescent wrench- erudite gremlin (quest), erudite gremlin, spider gremlin, A.M.C. gremlin
  • Out By that Rusted-Out Car - molybdenum screwdriver- vegetable gremlin (quest), vegetable gremlin, erudite gremlin, A.M.C. gremlin
• In May 2025, Leading Yourself Right to Them and Peering Through Your Peridot both evaluated the monster conditionals as originally intended so they showed a different set of gremlins than you would encounter while adventuring. After an aborted attempt to restore the randomisation, both were eventually altered to show the static Gremlin locations.
