You're fighting a tomb rat kingYou hurl the disgusting mass of tails and filth at the rat. His tail gets tangled up in it, and he retreats into a nearby rat-hole. There is a sound of frantic scurrying and rustling behind the ancient walls of the pyramid, and a few moments later the rat emerges, having made some friends.
