Black Puddings
- at Talk:Awwww, Yeah you made a comment that suggested you know something otherwise unknown about the relative combat frequencies when eating black puddings. your sample stats are very precise. could i ask if this spading is documented anywhere? would you share it with us? --Evilkolbot 15:17, 30 January 2008 (CST)
- He appears to be using the "spawns a monster approximately 35% of the time" figure listed on the page. The probabilities are also assuming the fights are consecutive, i.e., you never actually succeed in any eating of them. Assuming the monster spawn chances are independent of each other, then the chance of getting 6 spawns in a row is approximately .2% as he claims. The chance of spawning 6 before succesfully eating, say, 5, will be different (and higher). I could calculate this, using the 35% figure, fairly readily if desired. --Flargen 16:33, 30 January 2008 (CST)
- Yes, I was using the 35% number on that page. I've also added more to the Talk:Awwww, Yeah discussion. --EEpiccolo 09:17, 31 January 2008 (CST)
