This is a little ring of shifting holographic display panels that orbits your wrist, looking really cool and telling you where stuff is.

- Occasionally, while adventuring, you will see the following message:

Your wrist-puter begins to vibrate as you walk near a wall. There is a flash of light and the smell of old wallpaper burning as a small chunk of circuitry bursts through the plaster and lands in your hand.

Your wrist-puter beeps with increasing frequency as you get closer to a trash can. You dig through the garbage and find the source of its excitement -- a chunk of alien plastic!

- Occasionally, while mining, you will see the following message underneath your regular result:
- Your wrist-puter goes crazy! You carefully sift through the rock and find a strange-looking crystal.

- Xiblaxian circuitry is only found indoors, Xiblaxian alloy is only found underground and Xiblaxian polymer is found outdoors and underwater.
- Xiblaxian polymer is the default result, if a combat that would drop a material occurs outside of a location-defined zone (such as Ed the Undying in The Lower Chambers.)
- Only one Xiblaxian crystal per day can be found as an uncommon drop while mining. This counter is not connected to those for other Xiblaxian materials.
- Anomalous materials drop after n*(5*n + 17)/2 = 11, 27, 48, 74, ... successful combats (see talk page for edge cases) per day. This counter resets on ascension.
