Category:Equipment That Drops Items

There are a limited number of equipment pieces that drop items, meat, or other resources directly: there are items that modify give meat from monsters with no meat drop or which have a chance of dropping booze ingredients after a successful combat, for example, or which generate lightning in the Heavy Rains path. Of these, some will only drop items etc under certain conditions. There are also some items that cause systemic changes that enable extra item or meat drops from monsters, as with the dice equipment. Still others will dispense adventures. All types are included here.

For an accessible breakdown of which items do what, read below or see this forum thread. For a list of familiars that drop items, go to Familiar abilities and sort by "Special Drops."

Because of the mechanics of these drops, almost all of the equipment on this page will work in Gelatinous Noob. The only exceptions are the ones with enchantment benefits, i.e. dice equipment and the stinky cheese diaper.

Types of Restrictions/Triggers:

This page uses several terms to help quickly show how the equipment will drop stuff. The following terms and definitions only apply to this page: Passive - You don't have to do anything, equipment will drop stuff by itself; Combat - You must do something in combat in order for the drop to trigger; Environment - You must adventure in a specific location or fight a specific (type of) monster for the drop to trigger; Limited - Equipment can break or can only drop a certain number of times a day; Events - Equipment is/was only useful during a certain world event/holiday; Special - Drops under different conditions from the ones listed above or does not drop stuff directly in combat

Meat

Equipment that drops meat separate from normal monster drops (and is thus unaffected by +meat%).

Sorted more or less from best to worst strictly in terms of dropping meat.
