This is supposed to be used for cleaning swimming pools, but that is boring. You'd rather use it to grab random crap out of flood waters. It's like a metal detector, but instead of detecting metal it detects anything that isn't water. Like metal, for instance.

Notes
- Picks up one item at the end of combat (usually), giving the following message:

- The items picked up by the skimmer come from other Heavy Rains players whose items are washed away by the flood water.
- In addition to items lost by other players on the path, there is a static pool of common items "lost" by various inactive and dev accounts, to ensure you can always skim something even if the pool of real items lost by real players is empty. [1]
- The following inactive accounts are used to seed the static item pool: Deucalion, Gilgamesh, Manu, Noah, and Ziusudra.
- The following administrative accounts are also used to seed the static item pool: Gemelli, HotStuff, Jick, Pantsless, and Riff.
- Items are skimmed even on turnless combats, e.g. dense liana with machete.
