This is a fish scaler, but it's way larger than fish scalers usually are. It's not quite big enough for you to use as a knife, and it's a little too big for you to use to scale the biggest fish you've ever seen (you hold your arms apart to check) so... maybe your familiar can use it?

Notes
- The scaling attack occurs 33% of the time, and does not interfere with normal familiar action.
- Even familiars which do nothing, such as the Pet Rock, can attack if equipped with this item.
- This item grants a chance that your familiar will pry off a dull fish scale at the end of combat against fish in The Sea. If a fish scale drops normally, the normal one will not be granted but can still be lost to the pressure penalty (and can subsequently be retrieved from the rotten dolphin thief).
- Since most familiars require special equipment to go underwater, you will need a water-breathing familiar or Willyweed to use this item there.
