I think the Wallace and Gromit reference is a little farfetched. The item description makes no mention of penguins, wallace, grommit, trousers or a rubber glove. Also, the penguin in "The Wrong Trousers" is disguised (albeit poorly) as a chicken and not merely mistaken for one.--Squi 06:46, 19 June 2006 (CDT)

Record of Winners?

Is there any particular reason that the winners for the Grimacite Bock have not been properly recorded throughout the entirety of July? Does anyone have this record handy so it can be filled in as appropriate?

Contentious "Reference"

• "People might mistake you for a chicken" is a joke about the name Bock. Say it three times fast.

or

• The line "if you had three of these...." refers to how chickens sound: "Bock, bock, bock".

I'm torn about this one. On the one hand, it's clearly an explanation of how game text relates to the real world. On the other hand, if you don't get the joke immediately when you read it, it doesn't get any funnier after the explanation. I think it's a cultural reference more than a joke explanation. Someone who's not a native English speaker might well be mystified by it. Other pages have a ton of random things like that already: Ent cider trading, bottle of realpagne, etc. Including it seems well in line with the other content of the wiki. --Harry Crimboween 14:12, 23 June 2007 (CDT)

Moonphase Significance?

I neglected to write down the values I got from drinking this via Schrödinger's thermos, but I think I got 15 adventures (with no Ode to Booze active) and statgains in the eighties or nineties. Grimace was nearly full today.--Nerdanel 09:31, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

Today (Martinus 1) I got only 3 adventures when Schrödinger's thermos gave me this. It may be noteworthy that both moons were completely dark save for the minimoon.--Nerdanel 11:52, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Got 8 adventures and 70 beefiness, 51 mysteriousness and 67 roguishness when drinking a Schrödinger's thermos today, which gave me this. Was affected by Ode to Booze, but appart from that there shouldn't be anything affecting adv- or stat-gain. Ronald was waxing gibbous and Grimace was waning gibbous. Not a Beer?

As a rule, all forms of consumable beer have a mana regeneration ability. Seeing how GB doesn't, i highly doubt that it is, but confirmations are still needed.--The ErosionSeeker 15:46, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Moxie day (all moons dark), drank with ode. Under the sign of blender but it didn't have a message about appreciating the moons.
