Beaten Up
You've had the crap beaten out of you. You're going to need some more crap.
Muscle -50%
Mysticality -50%
Moxie -50%
Obtained From
- Reaching zero HP in any way (4 turns)
- While reaching zero HP normally grants 4 turns of Beaten Up, most methods of HP loss also consume a turn, leaving you with 3 turns of Beaten Up. Adventures under The Sea without Fishy consume 2 turns, leaving you with 2 turns of Beaten Up.
- There are some exceptions to this rule, such as:
- Trying to cheat Rodoric, the Staffcrafter (1 Adventure)
- drinking at the Giant's Drink (3 Adventures)
- Drinking a can of Dyspepsi-Cola or Cloaca-Cola with the effect Popping Stomach (10 Adventures)
- Using explosion-flavored chewing gum (10 Adventures)
- Eating foie gras (1 Adventure)
- The Beaten-Senseless Man's Hand at South of The Border, Bad Moon only (10 Adventures)
- Being kneecapped by the Penguin Mafia (10 Adventures) (No longer available)
- Trying to inappropriately Bedazzle! (10 Adventures)
Notes
- If you are at 0 HP after taking damage the Beaten Up duration is reset before adding the new amount.
- The following actions will explicitly cure Beaten Up:
- Resting at your campsite
- Using the Seal Clubber skill Tongue of the Walrus
- Using the Seal Clubber skill Hibernate
- Using the hot tub in your Clan VIP Lounge (maximum 5 uses per day)
- Using a tiny house
- Using a Space Tours Tripple
- Using a CSA all-purpose soap
- Using a personal massager (or having one in your inventory when you lose a fight)
- Using a vial of forest tears
- Using an aspirin
- Using a sewing kit
- Having the effect Heal Thy Nanoself active when you lose a fight
- Waiting until after rollover
- Unlike most effects, getting Beaten Up multiple times in a row does not extend the length of the effect, but resets it. As a consequence of this, if you have more than 4 turns of Beaten Up, then lose all your HP, the number of turns remaining will be lowered to 4.
