• The Dreidl has an equal chance of landing on any of its four sides. It has an approximated 1.7X+19% chance of acting. (See Discussion page)
• When the Nun result occurs, the monster won't attack you that turn, similar to the effects of a procrastination potion.
• By mistake, this used to give no-delete status.
• The transliterations of the Hebrew letters are deliberately off to allow for them to correspond to English words. (Gimmel is usually transliterated as Gimel and Heh as Hei or He)

• The name of this familiar is a play on a Hanukkah Dreidl, a traditional Jewish spinning top related to the holiday of Hanukkah. Haiku, name, and combat messages may be funnier to those Jewish people reading them.
• The last line of the haiku is a reference to the line "joy to you and me" from the song Joy to the World (the song by Three Dog Night, not the popular Christmas carol).
