No Good Deed
As you step into the next room in Fernswarthy's Basement, you nearly trip over a fellow adventurer who is lying on the floor. You jump back, skeeved out at having almost stubbed your toe on a corpse, but then the adventurer coughs and murmurs something you can't quite make out.
You kneel close beside his head. "What is it?" you say.
"Can't...go on...too...exhausted...can't form...complete...sentences...help me."

You figure the reason he's so tired is he's carrying around a bunch of rewards from various levels of the Basement. You relieve him of some of his burden and move on, feeling pretty good about helping someone out.
