Combat Messages
  • Regular message:
<name> irritates the crap out of you and your opponent with his incessant high-pitched yapping.
  • Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:
<Name> grabs your hair and yanks. Without consulting you, your arm flies up and delivers a shattering blow to your opponent, doing 40 damage.
  • With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
You hear a muffled (but still annoying) yapping from beneath the Tam.
<Name> scoots around the maypole in his purse, yapping annoyingly the whole way around.
With the wax lips clenched between his teeth, <name> produces an annoying growl instead of an annoying yapping.

Arena Messages

  • <name> just yaps and yaps, not accomplishing anything except annoying everyone and everything in the vicinity.

Notes

  • Increases Monster Level by floor(X/2).
    • X = familiar weight.
    • This equates to a stat gain of roughly X/8. Without familiar equipment, or with an Annoying pitchfork, a Blood-Faced Volleyball is better up to 64 pounds. With standard familiar equipment, the Volleyball is better up to 49 pounds (55/59 with the equipment).
