Reagent dish

A reagent dish is a relatively simple food to make that offers signficant adventure and stat gains at the cost of a food drop, one scrumptious reagent and one unit of dry noodles. For an individual to make it from start to finish requires both Advanced Saucecrafting (sauceror level five skill) and Pastamastery (pastamancer level five skill).

Originaly, the reagent dishes (in paticular Hell ramen) were the best foods in the game. These become duplicated in Black Sunday to signficant levels. As a response to this, the chow mein dishes were created that were even better than reagent dishes however being a bit more complex to create.

Reagent dishes are some of the basic foods and two of them (gnocchetti di Nietzsche and spaghetti with Skullheads) can be created once the player has access to the Knob Goblin Kitchens. For a hardcore player, this can be both a blessing and a curse in that reagent dishes consume scrumptious reagents that would otherwise be used later in the game. More than one hardcore player has found themselves running low on reagent potions above the beanstalk from eating too much at lower levels.
