Obtained From
- Reaching zero HP in any way (3-4 turns)
- When this is the result of using a turn, it will give 3 turns of the effect.
- Reaching zero HP in a way that doesn't consume an adventure will give 4 turns of this effect, except for:
- drinking at the Giant's Drink (3 Adventures)
- Drinking a can of Dyspepsi-Cola or Cloaca-Cola with the effect Popping Stomach (10 Adventures)
- Using explosion-flavored chewing gum (10 Adventures)
- Eating foie gras (1 Adventure)
- The Beaten-Senseless Man's Hand at South of The Border, Bad Moon only (10 adventures)
- Being kneecapped by the Penguin Mafia (10 Adventures) (No longer available)
Notes
- If you are at 0 HP after taking damage the Beaten Up duration is reset before adding the new amount.
- The following actions will explicitly cure Beaten Up:
- Using a tiny house
- Using a vial of forest tears
- Using the Seal Clubber skills Tongue of the Otter or Tongue of the Walrus
- Using an aspirin
- Using a personal massager (or having one in your inventory when you lose a fight)
- Using a Soft green echo eyedrop antidote
- Waiting until after rollover
