Notes
- Formerly available in the Mr. Store for 2 Mr. Accessories. It was replaced there on October 6, 2006 with the functionally-identical Jitterbug.
- This is one of 7 familiars that are animated. The other 6 are: Coffee Pixie, Cheshire Bat, Cymbal-Playing Monkey, Jitterbug, Nervous Tick, and Astral Badger.
References
- The familiar's name is a reference to the condition ADD (Attention-Deficit Disorder). The familiar's combat messages reference ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ADD.
- Both the Coffee Pixie and the Attention-Deficit Demon probably have the same inspiration from Tweek, a character in South Park. Tweek's parents run a coffee shop, and Tweak was mistakenly diagnosed with ADD. In one episode, Kyle asks why Tweek's parents give him so much coffee, and the parents respond that it helps calm his ADD. Kyle then says that all the caffeine in Tweek's body could be the cause of his ADD. The parents ignore him.
- One of this familiar's attacks refers to a joke about ADD kids and bikes that goes like this:
- Q: How many ADD kids does it take to screw in a light bulb?
- A: Let's go ride bikes!
