This is a mop that has been modified to clean vertical, cylindrical surfaces, rather than horizontal, flat ones. The modifications aren't especially visible to the naked eye, but it's totally different than a normal mop. We promise.

| You take the mop to the mizzenmast and scrub like you've never scrubbed before. It's not that you're working particularly hard, it's just that you've never scrubbed a mast before, and it requires totally different scrubbing techniques than you're used to. Once the mast has been thoroughly cleaned, you break the mop in half and throw the pieces over the side of the ship, just to piss off that curmudgeonly old jerk. |
