- At the end of combat:
- Name slowly crawls up to you and licks your wounds with his flickering forked tongue.

- Gila monsters suck at scavenger hunts because their vision is based on movement. You know, like tyrannosaurs and prostitutes.
Notes
- If the gila monster has bitten an opponent, in subsequent rounds the opponent will suffer additional damage, with the message
- Your opponent writhes as he takes X damage from the poison.

- The gila monster's weakness is a clear reference to Michael Crichton's work Jurassic Park, citing the fact that tyrannosaurs base their vision on movement.
- The prostitute's vision is a reference to a similar scene in Family Guy, which is a double reference to the original work of Jurassic Park.
- The maypole message plays on Bobby "Boris" Picket's novelty song Monster Mash.
