Most stores offer items which you can buy and they go directly into your inventory. Some stores do things. For instance at restaurants and bars, you immediately consume anything you order.

A Suspicious-Looking Guy	town_wrong.php?place=goofballs	Offers "goofballs". The first one is free, but each successive hit will cost you 1,000 Meat more than last time.
Uncle P's Antiques	store.php?whichstore=p	This used to be the Penguin Mafia's frontend, but was destroyed. It soon returned, but with a much more limited array of "services".
