Notes
- You must have either a stolen accordion, a calavera concertina, a Rock and Roll Legend, a Squeezebox of the Ages, or The Trickster's Trikitixa in inventory in order to be able to cast Accordion Thief buffs.
- Each of the aforementioned accordions, when equipped, will grant a different number of adventures per cast of Accordion Thief songs. (See individual accordion pages for specifics.)
- Having a stolen accordion equipped as your weapon will cause your AT buff duration to be 5 turns, even if you have a better instrument in your inventory.
- The second part of the description, starting from "Then again," was added on or around May 20, 2006.
- After the 2013 update to the Accordion Thief, only Accordion Thieves can use this instrument to cast buffs. All other classes must use a toy accordion.
References
- The hit message "You roll out the barrel [...]" is a reference to the song "Roll Out the Barrel", a drinking song that is traditionally played on the accordion.
