Second Adventurer Challenge

The wiki page already had a "Strongest Adventurer" contest, but I got a "Smartest Adventurer" one. I'm a Seal Clubber, so Mysticality is my weakest stat. I'm guessing that it's Fastest/<weak stat>/Hottest. -- Bobson (talk) 15:21, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

One of my accounts got a +Sleaze Damage contest, the other got the hot one. Both also got Fastest Adventurer and an off-stat contest (Moxie for Boris, Muscle for the Disco Bandit). —Dentarthurdent 12:11, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

Tower, Level 3: Wall of Bones

"Dealing any non-group-bonus damage causes it to fully heal." What in the name of heaven is non-group-bonus damage? Somesuch (talk) 05:43, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

  • non-group-bonus damage is damage that does not receive a bonus multiplier from being dealt group monsters. Examples of group-bonus damage: Category:Group Damage Skills. Stuff like saucegeyser does more damage when used on a group enemy than a non-group enemy, so it will deal damage to the wall of bones. Stuff like lunging thrust smack or normal attacks do not do additional damage to group enemies, so the wall of bones will heal them.--Cannonfire40 (talk) 07:40, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Thanks! That's interesting, and good to know. I've added an inline link to that category page as I'm fairly certain that some other readers will also need to be enlightened. --Somesuch (talk) 10:08, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
    • You just add a colon (:) before the Category: part (e.g. [[:Category:Group Damage Skills]]) — Cool12309 (talk) 20:26, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Hedge Maze

I'm not sure if it's mentioned anywhere, but I took all the shortcuts and did not receive any topiary nugglets. Not sure what the case may be if you take some, but not all, of the shortcuts. - Abbywill (talk) 23:32, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure how/if this should be explained on the page, but each time you refuse to take a shortcut you will immediately get a topiary nugget. This is not a reward granted at the maze's conclusion. --Bale (talk) 00:35, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

Thought it'd be noteworthy to add that the hedge maze can at least be finished while falling down drunk. I started it with 1 adventure within limits and then finished the maze after getting falling down drunk.--SirGeo (talk) 11:40, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

A Perplexing Door

Well-named door. Since the keys are now destroyed on use, and therefore the Dungeon keys can't be zapped, how is a two-day run possible? --Somesuch (talk) 03:56, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

By pulling key lime pies in softcore, or by going through the GameInformWhateverWhatever Dungeon. --Johnny Treehugger (talk) 04:05, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. Of course, I'd totally forgotten about softcore. And I should have guessed there'd be an IOTM solution. I've also just remembered that the avatar challenge paths provide a key, so it could be done in hardcore without an IOTM. --Somesuch (talk) 04:35, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
