  • Provides 5 free cooking crafts a day.
The advice from your cookbookbat is really saving time.

The familiar produces three Legendary Ingredients: Yeast of Boris, Vegetable of Jarlsberg, St. Sneaky Pete's Whey. You get one of each when growing the hatchling, 3 random ones after each 11 combats with the familiar active, a random one from every autumn-aton expedition made when you own the familiar and 3 random specific ones from a random monster specified by the familiar from time to time after a combat.

These ingredients, and some of their derivatives, can be combined to get untradable food items (and one booze item), but this requires knowing a recipe for the specific item. You get a random recipe when growing the hatchling, and a random recipe after the first 4-40 (?) combats with the familiar active every day. There is a protection against getting a duplicate recipe before getting all of them, but ones received on the first day or two after the familar was released aren't counted correctly. You can get a later tier recipe without knowing the recipe(s) for the prerequisites. (For example, receiving the baked veggie ricotta casserole recipe before receiving the recipe for roasted vegetable of Jarlsberg.)

Known recipes so far:

You cannot craft the recipe if you didn't learn it, trying to do that yields "You think that should work, but it doesn't".

The effects from these foods are not wishable.
