Talk:Dry noodle guide
This is going to need update in light of the Wok of Ages mein. -theBadElf
The way the page is laid out originally made me think that all my plates of pr0n stir-fry were made in vain, that I'd have to make more olive stir-fry and THEN go to the Wok. Is there a better way to lay this out, or a mention we can make that creating the final stir-fry is the necessary first step? Perhaps having the stir-fry in the main window and the (base) and (protien) lines just under it [I know there's a page somewhere that does this, but I don't atm remember where]? Just a clarity suggestion--Lukarnis 18:35, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Sourcing
I'm thinking of rewriting this in such a way that pulls in the data on The Wok of Ages, chow mein, lo mein, and hi mein. That would provide a nice overview of dry noodle cooking, but would also be a lot of duplication of data. I'm a programmer, so I rather like sole authoritative sourcing, but it seems like something that should be together in a guide. Actually.... the more I think of it, the more it seems true that this is a half-assed attempt to get out of creating Eating For Success (modeled of course after the wonderfully multifunctional Dressing For Success. Hmm. Comments? --DataVortex 13:42, 25 June 2006 (CDT)
Pr0n M4nic0tti
Contrary to what the main article now says, Pr0n m4nic0tti offers Moxie substats. --Baltar 09:48, 2 July 2006 (CDT)
Wontons
There must be a wonton recipe missing, as there is a muscle wonton, and a mysticality wonton, but no moxie wonton. -- Tobamf 12:15, 25 August 2010
This page should be deleted
I suggest we remove this page.
- It's very outdated. it's missing a lot of new pastas and the adventure/stat gains are incorrect.
- It contains duplicate information. All tables in this page are also in Pastamastery and Transcendental Noodlecraft. This is confusing and makes maintenance more difficult. If an item changes, we have to update three pages (the item, Pastamastery, and this).
The only merit of this page is in giving advice, and many of them are outdated, too. Unless someone has the will and time to update and maintain this page, I see more harm than good in keeping it alive.
I will start by removing incoming links to this page, then request a deletion. --Philmasterplus (talk) 06:12, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
Just wanted to add that cooking strategy exists, so anyone who wants to give "advice" can still indulge there. --Philmasterplus (talk) 06:27, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
