| The book is mostly just a collection of insane, egotistical ramblings, but you skim through it looking for the good parts... of which there turn out to not be any. On the bright side, the jacket flap does list the location of Dr. Awkward's office, which is right here in the Palindome. You should go see him, and tell him how much his book sucks. And about how you threw it away as soon as you read it, because that's a thing that also just happened. |

- Unlocks Dr. Awkward's Office.
- Drops from the fifth Bob Racecar, Racecar Bob, or Drab Bard you defeat.
- Any copies of the above enemies fought prior to obtaining the Talisman o' Namsilat do not advance the counter.
- Copies fought after obtaining the Talisman do advance the counter, and can even drop the book.
History
- Prior to the Palindome revamp on February 28, 2014, there existed another item by the same name. It still exists, though it is now no longer possible to acquire it.
