Interview With You/Masquerade/Nomination
- When selected to the Torremolinos:
The man fills in a final circle and studies his notepad carefully.
"Your responses are a bit... scattered," he says, "but I believe I can say you would be most comfortable in the attire of clan Torremolinos."
"Well now," you say with a demure chuckle. "It seems you can read me like an open book, good sir."
The man does not reply, but turns and leads you down one of the many clothing-laden aisles of the shop. Eventually, he stops and pulls a garment from the rack and hands it to you. It's a beautiful crushed velvet smoking jacket, of a deep maroon hue reminiscent of newly-dried blood.
You try it on, and it fits you perfectly. How elegant! Dear old Oscar would have been so jealous, he would have eaten his own toupée. You pay the man with a dense stack, telling him to keep the change, and leave the shop.
After a brief walk through the silent moonlit streets of Seaside Town, you arrive at an ancient and forgotten crypt beneath the town hall. Once, it was the resting place of some long-forgotten feudal lord, but now this place serves as the meeting grounds of the Caramello, the four clans of vampires that rule from the shadows of the Kingdom of Loathing.
Many representatives from each clan have gathered here tonight: the violent and rebellious Brouhaha, the wild-eyed Malkovich lunatics, the elegant and graceful Torremolinos, and the stern, coldly businesslike Ventrilo. You move over to the corner of the hall where your Torremolinos brethren are chatting amongst themselves, and wait for the meeting to begin.
Soon, a Ventrilo steps to the dais, adjusts his necktie, and calls the meeting to order. "Brethren," he says, "the time has come once again for us to elect a new Prince of Seaside Town, to replace our former fallen leader. We have been without a Prince for far too long, due to our requirement of a unanimous election, but it is my hope that tonight we will be able to put our differences behind us -- temporarily -- and unite behind a common leader. Will any of you step forward to claim the throne?"
Perhaps your new clothing has made you too confident, too bold -- but whatever the cause, you step forward. "I will." The other vampires mutter amongst themselves, until the speaker raises his hands for silence.
- When selected to the Brouhaha:
The man fills in a final circle and studies his notepad carefully.
"Well," he says, "it is plain to see that you walk the path of clan Brouhaha."
"Yeah? So?" you snarl. "You wanna make something of it?"
The man does not reply, but turns and leads you down one of the many clothing-laden aisles of the shop. Eventually, he stops and pulls a garment from the rack and hands it to you. It's a black leather motorcycle jacket, with the left sleeve torn off and replaced with chainmail, and a large white anarchy symbol painted on the back.
You try it on, and it fits like a glove. It even smells like burnt motor-oil. You're so pleased, you even pay the guy instead of just beating his face in like you normally would, and then leave the shop.

- When selected to the Malkovich:
The man fills in a final circle and studies his notepad carefully.
"Well," he says, "it is plain to see that you walk the path of clan Malkovich."
"I knew a man like you," you giggle. "His whole head was full of fat gray worms. Gray like your suit. Gray like your face."
The man does not reply, but turns and leads you down one of the many clothing-laden aisles of the shop. Eventually, he stops and pulls a garment from the rack and hands it to you. It's a filthy canvas strait-jacket, covered with beautiful, unidentifiable stains.
He helps you into it, and buckles up the back, though he leaves your arms free, the long sleeves trailing on the ground. The tight canvas envelops you like a mother's warm embrace, though not your own mother's. You happily pay the man with some meat you found inside a hobo earlier in the evening, and leave the shop.

"Very well, <name>," he says. "Speak with the representatives of each of the four clans, and then we shall put your nomination to vote."
- When selected to the Ventrilo:
The man fills in a final circle and studies his notepad carefully.
"Well," he says, "it is plain to see that you walk the path of clan Ventrilo."
"I cannot deny that fact," you say impassively. "Can we get on with this? My time is quite valuable."
The man does not reply, but turns and leads you down one of the many clothing-laden aisles of the shop. Eventually, he stops and pulls a garment from the rack and hands it to you. It's a very sober and professional-looking dark gray blazer, with a fine blue pinstripe.
You try it on, and decide it gives you quite an air of authority. Well-pleased, you put the purchase on your platinum card, file the receipt carefully in your wallet, and leave the shop.
