You pry open the door to the mausoleum and descend the steps. Wow, it’s pretty crowded; looks like people were dying to get in here!
Er, sorry about that. There are a lot of skeletons and near-skeletons in the room. Knowing they were all vaguely related to you is a little creepy, to be honest. It’s like a depressing family reunion.

You poke around the crypts a little, but don’t see anything super exciting, even with your heightened vampire senses. Oh, well.

You turn to go, but your minion pokes his head around the door and looks around, bleary-eyed. “Hey, Master, do you see that medallion over there? Looks like solid hamethyst!”
”Excellent eye, minion,” you say, haughtily, putting the medallion around your neck.
”Hey, finder’s keeper’s, Master!”
”Oh, go eat a scorpion, will you?”
”Eh, I don’t need this gig. I had a pretty sweet setup in that alley! A whole refrigerator box and everything!” your former minion stalks off, muttering under his breath.
