Talk:Knob Goblin Embezzler
Pic here. I clicked too fast thinking it was a bean counter so I didn't catch the text. Image is a reversed bean counter. I'm new to editing so sorry! --Dextrial 06:43, 26 June 2007 (CDT)
Here are my fight stats for spading. I don't have any messages because I noodled then ray blasted ;)
42 cold damage
Meat 64
2 meat stacks
1 knob goblin visor
Also I have a 30 lb Lion and MCD at 11.
Missed the fight text, but he dropped 4 meat stacks and 75 meat. The meat is inflated due to the Gnefarious Pickpocketing skill. Used a Volleyball with a plastic pumpkin bucket and a Mr. Accessory Jr. during a moxie ascension under The Packrat sign. Had Tron set to 10. --Magered 00:00, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
Same here with missing the fight text, I added on the page thougha fourth meat stack because I believe with some item buffs or not, he's able to drop 4 meat stacks. Screenshot. Anywho, I'll add fourth one on the zone page and hopefully a debacle won't ensue. --Xsmootx 02:41, 7 July 2007 (CDT) (3:40AM EST)
Got one hit, when he got the jump. No idea what causes the adventure: MCD at 11, around 8k meat on hand, think I'm under Marmot, using Sleazy Gravy Fairy. The desciption is the same as the Bean Counter, just to confirm. This guy doesn't drop bundles of receipts.--Ryo Sangnoir 11:18, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
Ryo, it's a rare adventure in the treasury. It's just luck to encounter one really. --Xsmootx 12:57, 8 July 2007 (CDT) (1:56PM EST)
Semi-rare, to be precise. Pretty that you can predict when you'll get an embezzler fight by using the fortune cookie trick.--MaskedLihc 14:14, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
I got 51 meat... needs more spading apparantly. --Nagyss 01:13, 29 July 2007 (CDT)
With +40% item drops, I got 55 meat and 2 meat stacks. No visor. --Deusnoctum 23:55, 12 August 2007 (CDT)
62 meat, 2 stacks, visor. 7 muscle substat, 1 myst (i think, maybe mox)
Detuned radio at 10. Confused, sleepy (testing bangs for this ascension) Clubbing frenzy. 3 pound goat, no equipment. No special equipment, I dont even think any of it had effects, besides +/- stats and SBiP. HCO Marmot. I think half of that didn't matter. Hope this helps.
In Bad Moon, level 10 with no active effects and no +meat or +item skills, and a 20-pound leprechaun, I got 955 meat (nine hundred fifty-five), a visor and two meat stacks. No real idea why the meat gain seems to be so far out of range, unless this is a Bad Moon mechanic. I also got 3 mus / 8 mys / 1 mox under the +4 stats/fight Bad Moon sign. --MalLardo 00:29, 7 November 2007 (CST)
In non Bad Moon, I had a meat drop of almost 600 with an Exotic Parrot? and no +meat drop skills or items?--Brandonmarlo 12:23, 7 November 2007 (CST)
I got 865 meat drop and 4 meat stacks. Only buff was Phat Loot.Skyofcrimson 02:24, 10 November 2007 (CST)
- The reason for these greater meat drops was explained on the Thursday show. He said that people were complaining that the embezzler was the wrost semi-rare. He said that he upped the drop rate of the stacks and increased the meat drops. --Chunky_boo 02:28, 10 November 2007 (CST)
Found him for (what I think is) the first time. He gave me 1214 Meat, two meat stacks and a Knob Goblin visor. I hit him for 64 damage using a Chrome Crossbow w/ Crossbow fever.
My stats were Muscle:76 (70) Mysticality:75 (72) Moxie:97 (87)
My relevent equipment, skills and familiar were miner's helmet, lucky rabbit's foot, and Ratsworth's monocle, along with a 25 pound ADD (20+ spanner) and the skills Powers of Observatiogn, Gnefarious Pickpocketing, Nimble Fingers and Mad Looting Skillz. Shinji16 - 2:24 Am EST US
With a 38 pound leprechaun, Phat Loot, Polka, Fingers, and Skillz, it dropped 1771 meat and 4 meat stacks. --NoHassles 20:24, 15 November 2007 (CST)
With a 23 pound Cymbal-Playing Monkey, no + meat drop items or + item drops, but have mad looting skillz permed, I got 1144 meat and dropped 1 meat stack and pick-pocketed another.--Sir Cadogan 09:23, 11 February 2008 (CST)
24 lb leprechaun, +126% meat drop (meatspout staff, natty blue ascot, natty blue ascot, wossname, polka of plenty, expert panhandling), +51 item drop (bounty-hunting helmet, wossname, fat loot lyric). Received: 1842 Meat; meat stack, meat stack.--Knobula 20:31, 2 March 2008 (CST)

- helps what, exactly? --Evilkolbot 19:59, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, it has enough data to determine what base drop he saw. But actually using meat drops at the end of combat to get meat ranges is an out of date method. The hookspear is the way to go. I'll have this guy's meat range by tomorrow. Well, assuming the hookspear works normally against a semi-rare encounter. --Flargen 20:14, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I'll keep on posting my results anyways untill you're done. --BlanketThief 23:47, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Still dropping meat stacks?
I remember the drop rate on the meat stacks being pretty high. I just encountered one, post-Knob makeover, and didn't get any. That could be entirely RNG, but it might be worth keeping an eye on; he could've been changed to just give direct meat. --Ackyri 19:40, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- With only passives and Phat Loot Lyric for item drops, I just got 2 meat stacks from an Embezzler. Looks like RNG. --Johnny Treehugger 15:45, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Meat drop increased?
today, with panhandling (no pan equipped) and polka (a total of 60%), a non-meat familiar (gila monster), and no meat drop equipment, I received a meat drop of 1,464
This indicates a higher top-end of 915 or better.
I'm player #2029934 and will have the same equips up for a while. Thanks. --Hastifer 16:44, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
Increased meat drops (more)?
I'm going to need someone to check my figures here, but I just got 2383 meat (and a meat stack) from my first embezzler encounter. (Only my 2nd semi-rare in 821 adventures, fwiw.)
Me: Lvl 7 Sauceror with +Meat% Equipt:
+ 15lb Leprechaun (81.4%) (10lb + 5lb Meat detector) (117 exp = 17/21 past 10lb, if that counts?) + flimsy clipboard (5%) + Polka of Plenty (50%) + Expert panhandling (10% - no saucepan equipped) = total bonus = 136.4%
So if total meat = 236.4% x base drop, his base drop was almost exactly 1000 meat, right? (1,008.037225) That's a lot more than 400-600, unless I've got the mechanics wrong or am missing some equipment / skill / buff effect. --MadKingSoupII 22:13, 11 October 2011 (CEST)
I agree, it does seem to have been increased. With +579% meat drops, I just got 6647 meat, (~979 base), 7534 meat (~1109 base), 7246 meat (~1067 base), 6692 meat (~985 base), and 8050 meat (~1186 base) using my spooky putty. --Bigben987 00:08, 10 November 2011 (CET)
Agreed, I got way more meat than a base of 400-600 would indicate - 3425 meat with +200.24% to meat drops. I would guess his meat range has been doubled, to 800-1200. --The iron troll 07:57, 5 June 2012 (CEST)
Two data points: +0% meat, two kills. 888 meat, and 814 meat. I'll try to collect more later. Reydien (talk) 03:31, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
