I don't think that the pope reference is actually a reference...the line "bang bang Maxwell's Silver Hammer made sure the (s)he was dead" is in the song that the item references. It's almost definitely a reference to that. That said, I'm not gonna erase the reference, because I could be wrong, but if anyone agrees with me and wants to change it, I wouldn't argue.--Matt is me 18:26, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

I updated all that I could on The Beatles references. I'm pretty sure that I got them all. I left the pope death story because I wasn't sure if it was true or not, but I think it should be removed. --Draguin 20:07, 1 May 2008 (CDT)

No damage to Scarab Beatles?

It didn't affect the Beatles at all, and I had to switch to using skills (Moxious Maneuver or Chronic Indigestion) to defeat them. The Hammer worked nicely against other monsters in The Oasis, though.--Adrienne 07:34, 2 October 2007 (CDT)

BANG

This weapon changes all hit sound effects to BANG BANG!, similar to the clown hammer squeaky intrinsic. It doesn't look like the hit message template can support this. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 21:30, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
