• The Crimbo Elf only tries to attack 33% of the time (similar to the elemental fairies), but even then, is only successful 10*ceiling(wt/6)+30% of the time (similar, but slightly better, than the Lime).

References

• The haiku for this familiar ends with a holiday version of a the cowboy exclamation "yippe-io-ki-ay". Bruce Willis's character, John McClane, in the 1988 movie Die Hard, popularized this saying, adding an infamous expletive to it.
• The dental pliers are a reference to the claymation Christmas special Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, whose sidekick was an elf who wanted to be a dentist and saved the day with a pair of pliers.
• The miniature gravy-covered maypole text is a reference to the haunting melody sung by the elves in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
