- The second line is written as if it was spoken by someone with rhotacism, a speech impediment characterized by difficulty in pronouncing "r" sounds. This could be a reference to Elmer Fudd, Homestar Runner, or many other characters. It changes the meaning from "hot wad" to "hot rod."
