Bees Hate You

Data on this page needs confirmation. How, if at all, are the Naughty Sorceress's familiars changed, since two of the five are on the no-use list?

A special challenge path, as opposed to the normal dietary challenges, that you can choose in Valhalla when you ascend.

Monsters of the species Anthophila will attack you during the run.

Also, items which contain in their name a... certain letter are rendered useless, and equipment with the same property are rendered... painful.

Rules

• You cannot use or consume any items that contains the letter "b".
  • This extends to such things as housing, disassembled clovers, chef-in-the-box or bartender-in-the-box. (Regular ten-leaf clovers are unaffected.)
• You cannot use certain quest items that are not necessary such as Bottle of used blood.
• You are allowed to equip item with the letter "b" in it, but you will take damage at the beginning of combat amounting to 10%? of your max HP per occurrence of the letter "b".
• You cannot use a familiar that has the letter "b" in their species name (e.g. Obtuse Angel, Blood-Faced Volleyball, Sabre-toothed Lime). No, not even in Crown of Thrones. You also cannot adventure with a Comma Chameleon familiar in the form of a familiar with a "b" in its name.
• If you try to Look Low on your telescope, you will only see bees.
• Occasionally, you will encounter some bee enemies:
  • beebee gunners
  • beebee king
  • beebee queue
  • bee swarm
  • buzzerker
  • moneybee
  • mumblebee
  • Queen Bee
  • bee thoven
• Bee enemies cannot be copied.
• Bee enemies can have Transcendent Olfaction used on them. (hasn't yet been proved to increase Bee enemy encounters, but the next encounter was the one olfacted.)
• All restrictions are removed once you break the prism.

Divergences

• Players in hardcore without access to Inside Degrassi Knoll can not make a bitchin' meatcar, since they cannot use a gnollish toolbox to obtain an empty meat tank. They must either buy a desert bus pass or make a pumpkin carriage.
• Players must defeat 3 screambats in order to face Boss Bat.
• The Big Book of Pirate Insults is replaced by the Massive Manual of Marauder Mockery.
• The Reassembled Blackbird is replaced by the Reconstituted Crow.
• ALL of the monsters in the Tower will be giant bees. To offset this, vacationing at the Tropical Island Getaway will (sometimes) give you a packet of orchid seeds rather than a single tropical orchid.
• Players will not be able to use much housing at all, except for the cottage, the ginormous pumpkin, sandcastle (only pulled) or house of twigs and spit.
• Players in hardcore will not be able to eat hi meins, because the scrumdiddlyumptious solution needed for the sauces is created by using delectable catalysts
• The NS Lair gates are missing. The Gate of Bees stands in their place. You need the Float Like a Butterfly, Smell Like a Bee effect to pass through.
• The final form of Naughty Sorceress is now The Guy Made Of Bees, so prepare accordingly.

Exceptions

A select few items with the letter "b" can be used, in order to make beating the game possible:

• Cobb's Knob map
• Enchanted bean (Note, though, the bean can be planted without the [use] link by clicking instead on the giant pile of coffee grounds).
• Ball polish
• Black market map

You will get the following message: You overcome your fear of Bs and use the item, but the Bs take it out on you.

You lose all hit points.

You acquire an effect: Beaten Up (duration: 3 Adventures)

• IOTM foldables will similarly cause pain if used in a form containing a "b", such as Loathing Legion rollerblades or Spooky Putty ball.
