Some blessing related mechanics are still not fully understood. Please fill in missing details if you become aware of them.

Adventurers may call upon the powers of Great Turtle Spirits and can receive a blessing of their choice. Turtle Tamers are able to better commune with these spirits and have the effects strengthened.

Basics

Blessings are intrinsic effects granted to Turtle Tamers when they use one of three non-combat skills. These blessings are mutually exclusive and obtaining a new blessing will remove any other present.

Blessings are reset upon ascension, but not at rollover.

Upon using the skill, the Turtle Tamer initially receives a basic (rank 1) blessing. After winning X combats, the blessing is strengthened into a grand blessing, which is twice as strong. After another X combats, the grand blessing is upgraded to a glorious blessing, which is thrice as strong.

If a non-Turtle Tamer casts the skills, they instead get 10 Adventures of a "Disdain" effect. Each effect gives bonuses equivalent to a rank 1 blessing but does not activate further Turtle Tamer skill effects.

Blessings augment or change the functionality of several Turtle Tamer combat skills.

Boons

By casting Spirit Boon (30 MP), you may call upon the Turtle Spirits for a beneficial effect. You get 5 Adventures of the effect per blessing rank, up to 15 for a Glorious Blessing.

Spirit Incarnate

By casting Turtle Power (100 MP, usable once per day) you may forgo your Glorious Blessing and become an Spirit Incarnate for X turns. Doing so also gives 60 Adventures of an unremoveable effect Spirit Pariah which prevents you from obtaining any blessing.
