Cocktailcrafting is the fine art of mixing drinks. Mixing drinks always results in a drink that is better than the ingredients used to make it. Anyone can mix a number of drinks, but the better drinks can be mixed only by players with Advanced Cocktailcrafting, and the best drinks are created by those who have Superhuman Cocktailcrafting talents.
You cannot mix your own drinks unless you have a cocktailcrafting kit in your inventory or either a bartender-in-the-box or a clockwork bartender-in-the-box installed in your campsite, any of which will reveal the make cocktails link in the crafting section of your inventory. A cocktailcrafting kit allows you to mix one drink at the cost of one adventure, while a boxed bartender allows you to mix one drink for zero adventures. However, after a certain number of uses your bartender will explode, providing you with a random assortment of its component parts and booze items—including some drinks that cannot be obtained by any other means.
This page provides an overview of mixable drinks. The fine details of individual recipes and drink effects can be found on the respective items' pages. There are also complete, no-frills lists of drinks (alphabetically or by drunkenness) and ingredients. Here's a complete drink list; not all of these require cocktailcrafting.
For those who don't want to read all their recipes from the list above, but still would like a little help, reading the correct book in The Haunted Library may help.
