Novelty Belt Buckle of Violence
Novelty Belt Buckle of Violence

The hole in the middle of this belt buckle is polished... nothing. It casts a distorted reflection, in which everything is smaller, but more violent.

Uses

Notes

  • If you cast a spell at your opponent while wearing this, the Belt Buckle automatically makes another attack ("reflection") against the opponent:
The light from your spell reflects off of your belt buckle, dealing another X damage.
  • X is 10% (20% if you are a Pastamancer) of the damage dealt by the original spell (rounded up), and has the same element(s) as the original. This is dealt as a separate source of damage.
  • The 10% or 20% damage is calculated after all damage caps and elemental doubling have occurred (i.e. it acts on the visible damage number you see).
  • If the opponent is weak against one of the reflection's elemental damage components, that component will be doubled again.
  • The reflection's damage components undergo soft damage cap reductions where applicable.
  • The reflection is considered single-target, even if it reflects off a multi-target spell such as Saucegeyser.
  • The Belt Buckle acts on Pastamancer spells, Sauceror spells and Hobopolis spells.
  • When using the 120 MP Hobpolis spells, the Belt Buckle only reflects the first damage source, not the additional sources from repeated castings.
  • The Belt Buckle does not reflect poison damage (e.g. from Stringozzi Serpent), even if that poison occurs on the same round as the spell that caused it.
