	There is an in-game bug related to this page.
	Some objects and actions that modify monster level are not currently providing explicit messages regarding monster attack and defense. Just because there is no message does not mean it does not delevel.

Every now and again, you may find yourself in a fight where you are over your head. The game provides a number of mechanics that alter the monster's level in combat. Deleveling tactics make the monster weaker, but your experience will remain the same. Typically, when a monster has been delevelled, you will see the following:

Monster attack power reduced by X

Monster defense reduced by Y

Deleveling can affect either Monster Attack (MA) or Monster Defense (MD), but typically it will affect both. The amount of MA and MD will typically differ.
