This is a tiny statue of a nit made from Thwaitgold, the hilariousest substance known to man. I don't mean to fixate on something so small, but it's really gross-looking!

Reference
- The name of this item is a pun on the term "nitpicking." Satisfyingly enough, "nitpicking" refers only to finding and criticising tiny faults. While looking gross is, indeed, a negative attribute, it could not be described as a fault per se, unless it had been established that the nit used to look great but was defiled in some way.
- There is no such creature as a nit in real life, it is the dead egg of a head louse visible in a person's hair, although there is some disagreement about the dead part.
