Pasta Dishes

Reagent pastas require both Advanced Saucecrafting and Pastamastery (the level-five Pastamancer skill). Without Pastamastery, you can cook the sauce, but can not combine the sauce with dry noodles to produce the final dish. These dishes benefit from Saucemaven.

Salsa de las Epocas is a secret recipe and does not actually require Advanced Saucecrafting to cook, although it uses a scrumptious reagent.

Evil Potions

Evil potions require nauseating reagents which were previously obtained as part of the nemesis quest, and currently only obtainable when spawned randomly from the skill Perpetrate Mild Evil. Saucerors do not get triple yields when crafting evil potions. They have a higher base duration than regular potions, and additionally offer 10 Adventures of A Little Bit Evil.

Notes

• This skill can summon up to 3 scrumptious reagents per day before other modifiers:
  • The skill The Way of Sauce allows an additional 2 scrumptious reagents to be summoned each day.
  • Possessing the Gravyskin Belt of the Sauceblob allows an additional 3 per day for Saucerors.
  • These bonuses stack up to a total of 8 reagents. However, trying to cast the skill again yields the message:

You can only conjure 3/5/6/8 Scrumptious Reagents per day.

• Reagent potions grant their effect for a duration of 5 Adventures, plus an additional 5 Adventures for players with Impetuous Sauciness and a further additional 5 Adventures for players who happen to be Saucerors, for a total of 15 for Saucerors with the passive skill. This bonus is not displayed or mentioned in the item window (like Saucemaven).
• When cooking reagent potions, Non-Saucerors receive a single potion and Saucerors receive 3 potions per set of ingredients used.
• This allows Saucerors to get a total of up to 45 adventures of the effect per ingredient used (9x the standard, from 3 potions each with triple duration at 15 turns of effect). The other possible combinations are that Saucerors start with 6x duration (triple craft and 10 duration baseline) before Impetuous Sauciness; other classes (even with Impetuous Sauciness permed) can only get 2x duration per ingredient.
• There are some exceptions – the bitter pill is a flat 100 Adventures with no duration bonuses applicable, and nor does it get bonus crafts. Milk of magnesium no longer grants an effect so it can no longer recieve bonus duration. concoctions of clumsiness is still produced at a single potion per ingredient ratio.

History

• Prior to November 15, 2013 this skill gave only one scrumptious reagent, but could be cast 3 times a day. Its use message was:

  You conjure a Reagent.
